Elisa Dall'Asta
Elisa Dall’Asta received her PhD in Civil Engineering (Curriculum Geomatics) in 2016 at the University of Parma, defending a thesis entitled “Semi-Global techniques in Image Matching and Change Detection with applications to Civil and Environmental Engineering”. Her main research interest is surface reconstruction by dense image matching applied to environmental monitoring and cultural heritage.
As a Post-Doc she was granted a one-year research scholarship on application of drones in precision farming to control crop irrigation in the framework of a POR-FESR regional project. She also got a one-year research grant on 3D contents creation and development of apps for multimedia and augmented reality in architecture and cultural heritage, in the framework of a project founded by a private foundation.
She currently works as Instructional Designer and Project Manager in planning and design of online training courses at FROG Learning, a technology and e-Learning solutions company in Parma.
