Camilla Ronchei obtained her PhD in Stuctural Mechanics from the University of Parma (Italy) on April 2016 by discussing a thesis on the development and validation of new criteria for multiaxial fatigue assessment of metallic structural components.
After her PhD, she was a Research Fellow at the Department of Engineering and Architecture - University of Parma.  The topic of the research was the fracture and fatigue behaviour of high-ductility concretes reinforced by Graphene Oxide, under seismic loading. 
Camilla’s main research interests include fracture mechanics for building materials; mechanics of fatigue-fracture for building materials and criteria on fatigue resistance.
She is currently Assistant Professor of Structural Mechanics at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Calabria
