Andrea Mordini is an Italian civil engineer with vast experience in Project Management, Design Management, and Business Development in the construction industry.
His career has been spent working in outstanding international projects in Italy, Austria, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Libya, Russia, Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, India, Australia, and United Arab Emirates. His experience is focused on megaprojects including roads and highways, tunnels, urban and high-speed railways.
The multifaceted international experience delineates a clear career progression through different roles, from designer to head of department, from design manager to project manager. Andrea has been working worldwide in different organisations (Consultants, Contractors and Clients), different contract types (Build-only and Design & Build), and different project phases (Tender, Preliminary, Detail Design, and Execution).
Andrea holds a Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School, UK with Distinction and top 10% mark. His dissertation deals with advanced stochastic financial modelling and has been published in the Summer 2018 issue of “The Journal of Structured Finance” with the title “Numerical Comparison of Risk Distribution in Conventional and Islamic Instruments in Project Finance”.
