Roberta Lanubile is an Environmental Engineer at Iren Ambiente spa. She works with the Cartographic team designing environmental utility services.
She obtained her PhD in Civil Engineering (Curriculum Hydraulic Protection) in 2016 at the University of Parma with a thesis entitled “Investigation with numerical models on the hydraulic safety of the embankments appointed for the protection of alluvial plains”. During her Ph.D. she dealt with the estimation of the spatial variability of aquifer hydraulic parameters. She has a great experience in groundwater numerical modeling, simulating the aquifer system beneath flood control structures. She is able to apply the geostatistical procedure implementing MATLAB codes and she has aknowledge of Gis software.
She has always had an interest in environmental issues. For 5 years she worked in AiPo, a public agency, which deals with river hydraulic safety, prevention and management of flood events.
