Daniela Scorza
Daniela Scorza obtained her PhD in Structural Mechanics from the University of Parma (Italy) on April 2015 by discussing a thesis on the development and validation of a numerical model describing the mechanical and fatigue behavior of short fiber-reinforced materials.
After her PhD, she was a Research Fellow at the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Parma for a project on the theoretical and experimental analysis of short fiber-reinforced concrete fracture behavior in 2016 and for a project on static and dynamic analysis of screening systems from April 2017 to October 2018.
Daniela’s main research interests include fracture mechanics for building materials; mechanics of fatigue-fracture for building materials and criteria on fatigue resistance.
She is currently Assistant Professor of Structural Mechanics at the Department of Engineering, University of Naples Parthenope.
