Andrea Zanichelli
Andrea Zanichelli obtained his Ph.D. (with honour) in Structural Mechanics at the University of Parma (Italy) on March 2021. His doctoral thesis deals with the development and validation of an advanced analytical methodology for the fatigue assessment of metallic structural components subject to fretting fatigue elastic partial slip loading conditions in high cycle fatigue regime.
Andrea’s main research interests include fracture mechanics for building materials, mechanics of fatigue-fracture for structural components and criteria on fatigue resistance.
He is currently a Research Fellow at the Department of Engineering and Architecture (University of Parma). The topic of the research is related to the fracture and fatigue properties of high-ductility concretes reinforced by Graphene Oxide, under seismic loading.
